We are looking for a

Legal Counsel F/H

to join our growing legal team in France. As a Legal Counsel you will be part of the Dedalus Legal team and will report to the France General Counsel.

You will take the lead in negotiating terms of commercial transactions on behalf of Dedalus and be involved in various legal matters.

In addition, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance to the business and implementing compliance programs as required by the group.

Main responsibilities :

  • Responsible for providing legal and compliance support to the French organization;
  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing complex IT contracts (License, SaaS, Managed Services and Cloud agreements …) domestic and international
  • Assist the business and the Public Tenders team with any Public Procurement matters
  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing domestic and international sales, marketing and direct and indirect procurement contracts
  • Provide legal advice on Data Privacy (and GDPR) related matters.
  • Knowledge of French sunshine act and anti-kickback legislation applicable to the companies operating in healthcare sector would be much appreciated,
  • Liaise with external counsels, auditors and advisors
  • Assist the company with the preparation, facilitation and follow-up of regulatory authority inspections

Qualifications

  • Law Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2/3 years PQE including extensive experience in IT sector, data protection (in particular with respect to GDPR and data privacy policy implementation) and contract law in a multinational company or in an international law firm
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work internationally in connection with the other members of the Dedalus legal team based abroad
